Numerous Injuries In 6-Vehicle Crash On Rt 30 (Photos): Officials

Several people suffered injuries in a six-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer on Route 30 in Lancaster Count on Monday night, August 12, authorities announced the following morning.

The crash happened on Rt 30 by Exit: PA 23 East - New Holland Ave/Pike and Exit: US 222 North - Ephrata/Reading around 10 p.m., according to PennDOT.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find multiple vehicles strewn across the roadway with patients trapped inside, as explained in a release by the Manheim Township Professional Firefighters.

It is unclear how many people were injured as of the time of publishing.
